In the novel My Name Is Asher Lev, Asher paints a piece called "Brooklyn Crucifixion II". He describes it in great detail in Chapters 11 and 12 in the book. As a part of my Asher Lev project, I painted "Brooklyn Crucifixion II" as it was described in the book. I also wrote a setting description of the painting as it was described.
